Just came back from the fellowship with Henry, Siakhong and Guangqiang. It's 6plus in the morning but i still wish to spend some time writting down these memories in case i forget or lazy to blog when i wake up later. Let me think where shall i start..

It started when Siak came to fetch me and we decided to go to chompchomp for our late dinner. we ordered quite alot, for him is mutton soup and a plate of hokkien mee for me. Then he continued to order 2 plates of satays of 40 sticks and 2 huge cups of sugar cane juice. The sugar cane juice was so so so big that i almost vomited after gulping it up. Then an idea came to us and it was to go to sing at Teoheng! We met up Guangqiang at Serangoon MRT to fetch him and we reached Teoheng at 11pm and sang to 1am.

We met up with Henry at Prinsep street at 130am only to realise that the place which we wanted to stay and watch soccer did not have the soccer channel to show champion's league so we left for many other places just to lookout for that soccer channel. We searched for almost 1 hr, at least 3-4 places like Clarke Quay, Boat Quay etc but couldn't find. During the transition from one place to another, we passed by the carpark of Riverwalk and it just reminded me of a memory. I paused and stared at the blank for a moment. After that just as we wanted to give up watching and on our way to play pool at Bugis, we passed by a coffeeshop and that coffeeshop was showing the soccer match! We were 15-20mins late for the match. The match ended with a score of Bayern Munich 2 and Man Utd 1. After the match, we went to Boon Keng Mac and chill abit. We played monopoly deal for an hour. Like i said, i am slowly getting addicted to the game but we were all tired so left at ard 545am.

Siak drove me home and we talked a little. Suddenly just talked about one incident quite long ago when i walked home from Cheryl's house because i missed the last train and bus. It was a long trip home with 2plus hrs of walking and walking on the highway.. Then a thought just came into me that indeed everything has a preparation. Because who knows that when i thought that 2plus hrs long trip of walking from Cheryl's house was already a crazy thing to do in my life, God outdo it and allowed me to have an opportunity to walk 72km in 21hrs just one year ago. That short walk from Cheryl's house was a preparation. Few years ago, i was honoured to be used by God as a guitarist, together with Nelson, for the Christmas Caroling at Pasir Ris Commando Institute. But who knows a year after that, i was enlisted as a trainee in the same place and graduated as a soldier there. That trip to Pasir Ris Camp was a preparation as well.

So.... What is God preparing us into? I don't know but i know that everything is a preparation and it is not wasted and not coincidence.
